System Overview

A standalone, no frills, system which is ideal for teaching, training or small scale application development for both education and industry.
The InoFlex system can be deployed in different combinations:
  • InoGate: the base being a stand-alone customised FPGA hardware element that operates across the entire range of voice,audio, video and communication frequencies.
  • Connected via a USB port, InoGate allows the user to learn analogue to digital, digital to analogue conversion and signal processing techniques and carry out advanced R & D projects
  • It is supplied with a comprehensive User Guide, PC drivers, example code & VHDL code for peripheral interfacing.
  • The InoBlock range of Configuration Software: pre-configured software for the InoGate board operating from within Microsoft Windows, that are specifically designed for users:
  • wishing to build their own training documents and exercises for specific  teaching, training or curriculum requirements
  • seeking to harness the power of the InoGate hardware for their specific project or research needs
  • The InoStructor range of teaching and training exercises: written by experts from Lancaster University, exploit the easy-to-use InoBlock GUIs that control the InoGate hardware and are designed for effective training and teaching for all levels of user expertise, from novice to expert in:
Many of the exercises link to common laboratory hardware (such as a signal generator and/or oscilloscope) that generate and show real time outputs processed by the InoGate hardware.
